Swamp Digging
Swamp Digging is a system where you can dig up artifacts from the swamp. It requires you to do a quest to obtain a swamp-digging shovel. You can then use the shovel on swamp tiles in swamps to dig up treasure.
Oak Island Treasure Hunters
Rick Lagina the Treasure Hunter is located in the Horses Head pub in Jhelom, Trammel. He will instruct you to find various items throughout Trammel, Malas, and Tokuno.

After obtaining these items you will need to find and talk to Marty Lagina. He is located at Fisherman's Guild in Magincia, Trammel.
He will take the items and label them and give you a 
Crate of Oak Island Artifacts.

Digging
Once you have a shovel, you can use it on swamp tiles. There are random items that can be pulled up, including gems, reagents, scrolls, low-end armor, or even monsters. On occasion, you might pull up an artifact.
