Building your house

There are two methods to get a house: build or buy.

Firstly you will need to purchase a House Placement Tool from an NPC Architect. They are reasonably low cost at only 627 gold.

All accounts will start with 2 house slots for free, there are currently no limits on how many houses you can own. More can be purchased from the Eventine Dollar Store located at Town Center.

Once you have saved up enough gold to place your house or plot you will simply need to find a location. Here on UO Eventine you will find there are many plot sizes available on multiple facets, the only exceptions being Faraan, Ilshenar and T2A where houses cannot be placed.

Buying

Some players may decide to buy a house from another player instead of placing or building their own. This can be done easily once you have located a home and decided on a price with the seller, you both meet at the house. The seller opens the house sign and begins the transaction process. A trade window opens and on the seller's side, a glacial colored deed is shown with the house information. You then place the agreed upon gold/items in. Both parties then need to accept.

Housing types

There are two types of housing: pre-built and custom.

Custom

Using the House Placement Tool you can also purchase house plots which are fully customizable and come in a variety of sizes ranging from 7x7 to 18x18. Larger customizable plots of 24x24 and 30x30 can also be purchased from the Eventine Dollar Store.

These customizable house plots also have a sink option where the foundation and first floor of the house can be sunk underground. This option can be found in the house sign under the customize tab. This will charge you 50 Eventine Dollars to sink each level.

You can also purchase increased storage for your houses, this option is again in the house sign under the customize tab. This will cost 100 Eventine Dollars for 20% increased storage, with a maximum of 100% extra storage per house.

You will also notice some much larger plots as we offer a house joining service for a small fee, these are explained in our Staff Services section.

Finding Houses

If you happen to lose your rune or simply forgot where you placed your house you can find it easily using the [myhouses command. This will provide a list of all the houses you own and give you an option to teleport you to them for a fee of 60,000gp.

House Drops

Here on UO Eventine players whose accounts are considered as inactive (that have not logged into their accounts within a six month period) will be dropped. We run frequent house drop events which are very popular with players.

Raffle Houses

Occasionally we add rare sought after housing to the raffle tables set up at Town Center. These include houses in rare locations where housing cannot usually be placed such as mountains or water etc.
