Grave Digging
Grave Digging is a system where you can dig up artifacts from graves. It requires you to do a quest to obtain a grave-digging shovel. You can then use the shovel on graves in graveyards to dig up treasure.
Grave Diggers Quest
Samus McNealson the gravedigger is located in the Britain cemetery. He will instruct you to find various items throughout Trammel.

The items will need to be collected in order. The quest items will auto be placed into your pack upon killing the correct monster. Here is a list of them in order.

After obtaining these items you will need to find and talk to Vincent Gasto. He is located at The Unicorn's Horn in Britain.
He will tell you to find his young daughter Linda before she runs away with a thug in Bucs Den.

Bring Vincent the news and he will thank you and give you the Whiskey needed to bring back to Samus.

Digging
Once you have a shovel, you can use it on 
grave tiles. There are random items that can be pulled up, including gems, reagents, scrolls, low-end armor or even monsters. On occasion, you might pull up an artifact.
