We have a custom Archaeology System here written by the staff of Uo Eventine. We hope you enjoy it. Here is some information needed to get started or items of interest.

Archaeological Finds

In order to check for Archaeological finds, you must first acquire a few things to assist you on this journey.

WARNING: Failing a staff-given AFK check may result in you being added to a board for all to see that you failed, up to 6 months of no working any of this system, and loss of any materials obtained at any time including previous bought or obtained items, this includes items from the wash plant.

Finding Sifting-Quality Soil

Finding Sifting-Quality Soil

Book to be able to dig in dirt for Soil Samples. You must have at least 50 Mining Skill to read this book. Once read, you will be able to dig up soil samples for sifting in dirt with a shovel. This book can be purchased from any Miner NPC.
A Soil Sample

A Soil Sample

Can be obtained from using a shovel on dirt. It can be used on Sifting Box to sift for treasures.

Skill Needed: Mining

Soil Sifting Box

Soil Sifting Box

Used to find archaeological finds by sifting soil samples. This item must have a Water Trough next to it. It can be crafted with Carpentry. Requires a One-use Recipe to craft. The recipe is a rare drop on the Spectre Queen peerless boss.

Skill Needed: Forensic Evaluation

Wearing Forensics Armor of Crafting can increase your chance of getting unidentied artifacts

Archaeologists Tools

Archaeologists Tools

Used to identify unidentified artifacts. They can be obtained from town and dungeons chests.

Skill Needed: Item Identification

Wearing Item ID Armor of Crafting can increase your chance of getting higher tiered items
