The term Meat has several uses. It is one of five food types of which Tamers must be mindful as numerous tamable creatures only consume meat. It is a resource for practitioners of the Cooking skill. Like fish, meat comes in raw and cooked forms. Characters can consume meats that are cooked, but not raw. Sources of meat include: most creature corpses upon which a bladed weapon is used; NPC butchers.
